I followed the setup for Ultimate vSphere LAB and am using Workstation and ran into isues with ESXi. Going through the initial lab setup again, I noticed that the compatibility products is not listing ESX or ESXI (need ESXI). Why do they not show? Is this an issue or something that with impact the ESXi install later?
Going through the Ultimate vSphere Lab setup I am learning things and remembering my days of MSCE. However, I want to ensure that I get the best experience for studying for the VCP certification and for assisting customers with their transition to virtualization. The Autolab appears to be a good solution as well.
From the experts that have or are going through a home lab setup on Windows 7, Workstation, with SSD 128 GB, 16 GB memory and 2TB data drive is very good for doing this, which is better for studying for VCP 5, Ultimate vSphere Lab or Autolab?
TIA
