André,
Thanks for your reply. I am using SW iSCSI. When I go to the Storage Adapters -> iSCSI Software Adapter -> vmhba35 under the SAN identifier I have the following for one of the servers "iqn.1998-01.com.vmware:server1-7ab40fc3" for the second server I have "iqn.1998-01.com.vmware:server2-0a1b15cf"
Server1 is the one that doesn't see the other datastores (it only sees UNT:storage1)
Server2 can see three datastores (UNT:storage1, vm1, vm2)
When I go to the properties for the iSCSI Software Adapter to Server2 and go to the Dynamic Discovery tab I have 4 IP's:
192.168.130.104:3260
192.168.130.103:3260
192.168.130.102:3260
192.168.130.101:3260
In Server1 I have nothing under the Dynamic Discovery tab.
Server1 - Configuration - Networking -vmnic0
Virtual Switch: vSwitch0
Virtual Machine Port Group
Service Console Port - vswif0 10.10.10.100
Virtual Switch: vSwitch1 -vmnic1
Service Console Port
iSCSI service console - vswif1 - 192.168.130.8
VMkernel Port - iSCSI VMKernel - 192.168.130.9
Server2 - Configuration - Networking -vmnic0
Virtual Switch: vsmif0
Virtual Machine Port Group
Service Console Port - vswif0 10.10.10.101
Virtual Switch: vSwitch0 - vmnic0
Service Console Port
iSCSI service console - vswif1 - 192.168.130.5
VMkernel Port - iSCSI VMKernel - 192.168.130.6
I don't think I reconfigure the host object on the storage system (I am assuming we are taking about the MD3000i).
