Thank you. I have now edited the resolv.conf file in vDP to add the domain suffix, and the ping and nslookup from vDP to vCenter now works for IP, hostname and FQDN.
You would think that this would resolve the problem. However, I still get the same error message from vDP when I try to configure it.
