If you want to run Mac OS as a guest, you should be using VMware Fusion on Apple-branded hardware, which supports Mac OS guests, not VMware Workstation, which does not.
The Apple Software License Agreement does not permit the virtualization of Snow Leopard "client" (only the "server" version is allowed), and also requires that a Mountain Lion guest only be virtualized on a Mountain Lion host. In any event, virtualizing a Mac OS guest strictly requires Apple-branded hardware. Discussion outside of those requirements isn't allowed in these forums.
