Hi everyone! I had two questions about a current VSA configuration that I'm doing for a client. Version 5.1.1 Brownfield installation = Live Running Virtual machines. I have everything configured but am running into 2 issues that may be common question throughout the community.
1. During the intial cluster configuration when ready to configure the disks for VSA, does this wipeout the entire disk or just what has been configured space wise. My guess is since there are running virtual machines on the local datastore that it won't write over this portion but yet format what disk space hasn't been used.
2. I received during the vsa cluster configuation the error message:
Cannot create VSA cluster: Cluster's subnet 192.168.12.0 is invalid. Should not be 192.168.12.0
Now I've seen the article on what this could probably be. The gateway is shown and is correct. The issue is that I know that the default gateway isn't pingable. I've corrected it but haven't started the install due to the above #1 question. Since the gateway is pingable now, would this be the possible resolution. Thanks in advance to all who support!
